WHAT IS EAR WAX REMOVAL BY MICROSUCTION?
Ear wax removal by microsuction uses gentle suction to draw any excess wax from your ears. It’s one of the most effective and safest procedures for cleaning your ears. We use specialised loupes to magnify the ear canal allowing direct vision to remove ear wax.
The procedure typically takes up to 20 minutes.
VIDEO OTOSCOPY
Video Otoscopy is a state-of-the-art diagnostic tool that allows us to inspect the ear canal and eardrum with precision and clarity.
Our advanced camera technology provides a real-time, high-definition view, enabling us to examine, identify, address, and educate on ear wax build-up and other ear-related issues.
This visual representation ensures your peace of mind, showing your ears are free from wax build-up after treatment.

We can share the images from the examination with your healthcare provider, such as your GP or Pharmacist.
This collaborative approach ensures that any potential infections or related concerns are promptly addressed, facilitating quicker treatment and referrals.

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

Depending on the nature of the wax, ear drops can sometimes block up the hearing or appear to make the hearing worse. This is because the oil has soaked into the wax and caused it to expand.

If you experience a foul taste after using olive oil, stop using it as this might be a sign that there is a hole in your eardrum. If this happens, get in touch with your GP.
